Our puppies are covered by our written health guarantee for two years from the puppy's date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions contained in the puppy's applicable agreement.
The guarantee is designed to provide protection in the event that a puppy is diagnosed with a qualifying serious congenital or hereditary condition covered by the written guarantee.
What Our 2-Year Maltipoo Health Guarantee Means
A health guarantee does not mean that a dog can never experience illness, injury or another medical issue during its lifetime. Like people, dogs can develop health conditions for many different reasons.
Instead, our Maltipoo puppy health guarantee provides written protection for qualifying conditions covered under the agreement while also explaining the responsibilities of both Little Clouds Maltipoos and the puppy's new family.
Families should carefully read their individual puppy agreement before completing the adoption so they understand exactly what is covered and what documentation may be required if a health concern arises.
Our Approach to Raising Healthy Maltipoo Puppies
Good puppy health begins before a puppy goes home. Our small, family-based breeding program allows us to pay close attention to our dogs and puppies throughout the time they are in our care.
Raised in Our Home
Our Maltipoo puppies are raised in our family home rather than in a high-volume commercial puppy facility. They grow up around our children and family members with regular observation, handling and care.
Health-Focused Puppy Care
We pay attention to each puppy's development and provide appropriate health and care information to the family welcoming that puppy home.
Thoughtful Breeding
We do not continuously produce litters. Our breeding program is intentionally small, and we breed only once every two years so that quality of care remains more important than the number of puppies produced.

Our two-year guarantee is intended to address qualifying serious congenital or hereditary health conditions that materially affect the puppy's health and that meet the requirements stated in the puppy's written agreement.

Understanding the Limits of a Puppy Health Guarantee

Conditions Outside a Hereditary Health Guarantee May Include:

- Illness caused by exposure after leaving our care
- Conditions resulting from neglect, abuse or inappropriate care

- Normal differences in adult size, coat texture, colour or personality

Your Role in Protecting Your Maltipoo's Health
Breeder care is only the beginning. After your puppy goes home, ongoing veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, safe housing, exercise and preventative care become important parts of maintaining your Maltipoo's health.
- Establish your puppy with a licensed veterinarian soon after bringing the puppy home.
- Follow your veterinarian's recommendations for vaccinations and preventative care.
- Maintain appropriate parasite prevention according to veterinary guidance.
- Feed an age-appropriate, nutritionally complete diet.
- Keep your Maltipoo at an appropriate body condition and provide suitable daily activity.
- Keep copies of veterinary records and medical documentation.
- Contact a veterinarian promptly if your puppy shows signs of illness, injury or unusual behaviour.

We strongly encourage every family to establish a relationship with a licensed veterinarian shortly after bringing their Maltipoo puppy home.
